计算物理基础为物理学专业本科生的学科选修课程。它的任务是培养学生的计算机求解物理问题的能力,也就是应用常用数值计算方法处理,通过计算机程序设计,给出符合要求的结果。通过本课程的学习,使学生掌握基本的数值计算方法,学会选择合适的计算方法,解决具体的物理问题。主要内容包括:数值计算基础、插值法、数据拟合法、数值积分和微分、非线性方程的数值解法、线性方程组的数值解法法、常微分方程的数值解法等。
Computational physics is an elective course for undergraduate students majoring in applied physics. The purpose of this course is training the ability of students to solve the physical problems with computers. That is acquiring the desired results by numerical methods and computer programming. The students will learn the basic numerical computational methods, and learn how to solve the practical physical problems with proper numerical method. The main contents includes: numerical calculation basis, interpolation method and data fitting method, numerical integration and differentiation, numerical solution for nonlinear and linear equations, numerical solution for ordinary differential equations, etc.
